Mirage
Mirage

Frank Herbert's book, Dune, made me paint this. In his book about a desert planet, water was a precious resource and the inhabitants had become very resourceful about getting and using it. Well, this influenced me a great deal because I drink about three quarts of water a day and a shortage of it would drive me into a frenzy.

"Mirage's" detail shows the top of the glass. Note symbolic images.

Remember: drink eight eight-ounces glass of water every day.
