The Oryx is an antelope. These are the White, or Scimitar-Horned Oryx. They are considered critically endangered. Before their endangerment, thousands would group for migration. Now they might mix in herds of up to 70.This Orxy will be about 5 ½ feet long, 4 feet at the shoulder, and weight around 400 pounds. Their white coat with the neck and chest a bright russet are beautiful, but their most distinctive feature is the two scimitar or sickle-shaped horns. Found in both sexes, these almost smooth, thin horns curve up and over the back, growing 4 feet in length.
