The waiting line for Kilimanjaro Safaris takes you through small buildings, lush tropical jungle, and over wooden walkways.   The trail you take while waiting in line varies with how long the wait is, so you might not recognize the route a second time around.

Waiting in a particularly long and hot line, it wasn't much cooler in the covered bridge section.   We kept hearing trucks but couldn't see anything until we got to a small gap in the boards and got a good look at the trucks returning from safari.   This might be the only chance to see one of these from above.   Just hearing them adds to the anticipation. Seeing them, finally, reassures you that you will reach the front of the line eventually.
