Can you believe that rain!?   Turns out it made for our best safari yet.   We stayed dry in the truck while these tall guys took refuge under trees.

They don't drink much, it's hard for them to get down, having to spread their long forelegs widely to reach water.   They get most of their moisture from the leaves they eat. subsequently, they've been spotted hundreds of miles from water.   But not today!
