Raccoon

Christmas in the Everglades

Raccoon
In His Cups

It was Christmas and, in order to vacation from a fierce New England winter, we hit the road to Florida. Christmas day, We found ourselves in The Everglades and, among many other things, discovered this young raccoon sleeping in the bottom of a trash barrel. I used my trusty camera to remember him. Note that most of the soda containers are paper. This is a wonderful place. If you ever find yourself in Alligator Alley about an hour south of Miami, you must visit - and bring a camera.
